Acrow are actively recruiting an experienced WA based Scaffold Yard Co-ordinator to be a key part of the scaffolding construction for Project Ceres - Perdaman, in Karratha WA. The scope of work includes Yard Management, Scaffolding, Rope Access and White-Collar roles for the construction period, working a 20:8 roster.
The Scaffold Coordinator leads the scaffolding yard, yardies, telehandler operators and forklift operators onsite to ensure safe, efficient and compliant yard operations across the project. This role is accountable for project delivery, crew performance, and safety outcomes, while demonstrating and promoting ACROW's "Smart, Can-Do, Partner" values in every aspect of leadership, teamwork and client interaction.
To be considered for this position, you will possess the following:
Minimum 5 year's Construction experience as a Scaffold Coordinator, preferably in a Greenfield Construction environment
Management of supply operations including the receipt, storage, issuance, traceability, quality assurance and accountability of all company-supplied assets
Interface with Engineering and Construction related to material take-offs, requisitions and required on-site dates
Planning, scheduling and coordinating material resources and yard personnel to complete workpack tasks within Construction timeframes
Develop and implement material control processes
Leadership and guidance of 3 yardmen and 3 machinery operators (numbers may grow)
Lead daily prestart meetings; discuss safety concerns, the wearing of full PPE including the wearing of gloves, KPIs, operational changes, high standard housekeeping requirements etc
Ensure all company-supplied materials reach the scaffold yard in line with the schedule (Supplier to Perth - Perth to Karratha)
Align all outgoing and incoming materials in Scafpac with Contract Package Manager for monthly reporting
Liaise with Superintendents and construction team for lookahead, in line with schedule requirements to ensure material availability
Stock control of consumables, scaffolder tooling, working at heights equipment and all associated yard running costs
Allocate daily work tasks, manage shift rosters, track crew productivity, and ensure efficient use of labour, materials and equipment
Maintain scaffold material control and quality, ensuring components are inspected, tagged, and stored in line with ACROW's asset management procedures
Promote a positive safety culture by enforcing PPE compliance, conducting toolbox talks, identifying hazards, and exercising stop-work authority where necessary
Drive continuous improvement through identifying safer, smarter, and more efficient ways of working, reflecting ACROW's commitment to innovation and customer value
Complete required paperwork, including scaffold deliveries and checklists accurately and on time
