Job tasks and responsibilities
Duties Include:
Reception - greeting patients/visitors and answering the telephone in a courteous and professional manner
Triaging patients (training provided)
Managing computerised appointment book
Billing patients - eftpos, cash, medicare, DVA
Liaise with Doctors, clinical staff, and other clinics
Ordering and managing stock levels
Participate in ongoing professional development activities
Ensure practice policies and procedures are followed
Skills and experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent computer skills
Attention to detail
Strong work ethic and mature outlook
Capacity to multitask
Enjoy learning new things
Flexible to cover rostered shifts (hours of operation 7.30 am to 7.30 pm)
Availability to work Monday to Friday shifts required
Punctual and reliable
Medical Reception experience preferred but not essential. A fabulous attitude and willingness to learn are vital!
