**About the role
Our Supplier Capability team delivers continued improvement to enhance the engagement with our supplier network to be the most preferred retailer to partner with.
Together with the team, you will play a critical role as a key conduit between Woolworths Suppliers and Supermarket Commercial team.
Reporting to the Supplier Capability Lead, your role is two-fold:
- Continual development & delivery of tools (products) and processes that help grow Woolworths and our diverse range of supplier capability
- Informing our Supplier interactions to increase the volume of high-quality, effective Joint Category (Trade) Plans by leveraging our category data and customer insights
Key Responsibilities:
- Draw conclusions from data and insights to design and develop meaningful recommendations, identifying the root causes of problems through structured problem-solving and diagnostic techniques
- Support the day-to-day operations, development, training, embedding, and quality management of the Supplier Connect Product portfolio and Joint Category (Trade) Planning processes
- Supports engagement of stakeholders across the Woolworths Group, Supermarkets Buying & Replenishment, Suppliers, and cross-functional teams to gather feedback and contribute to prioritisation of process and tool development and delivery of the Supplier Capability work plan.
- Consult and collaborate confidently with stakeholders to strengthen ideas
- Create networks with other support teams, and work together to deliver outcomes
**About You
You bring 1-2 years of experience as an analyst with a developed ability to turn information into actionable insights and a good understanding of the retail industry and supplier/retailer processes.
You will also bring:
- Clear analytical thinking, experienced breaking information into component parts, patterns, and relationships
- Ability to present info in a clear and structured way tailored to the audience
- Success in engaging and influencing through relationships at all levels within a complex corporate environment
- Advanced Excel, Google Suite, PowerPoint
- Experience using agency tools for analysis e.g. Quantium, Nielsen
- Strong Communication skills
