**How you contribute**
- This role offers an excellent career opportunity for an experienced Technical Writer to join the Product Delivery team to determine the documentation and learning requirements as well as produce deliverables including product manuals, how-to guides, website help sections, journal articles, and other content that distills technical information with ease and clarity.
- Your mission? To make processes easy to understand and products a breeze to use.
**Here's what we need**:
- Development of knowledge base articles, release notes, training manuals, how-to articles and videos.
- Obtain a deep understanding of our products and services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging user content.
- Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience, turning insights into language that sets our users up for success.
- Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements.
- Work with development and support leads to identify all documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine the best solution for data compilation and centralized storage.
- Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation.
- Work with the marketing communications team to ensure a consistent tone of voice throughout the customer journey.
- Produce "how-to" / "what's new" software and hardware videos to showcase latest product functionality for inclusion into software release communications and materials.
**How you'll succeed**:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant technical field
- 3-5 years' industry experience as an effective technical writer
- Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics
- Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Video editing skills - ability to work with video editing tools to record on screen footage and produce how-to videos for knowledge base / help files
- Experience working with engineering to improve user experience: design, UI, and help refine content and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content
- Ability to confidently communicate and work with cross-functional teams
- Atlassian tools / understanding of Confluence (desirable)
- Instructional design experience (desirable)
