The Opportunity
The SHFC Program is responsible for the provision of the Defence High Frequency Communications System (DHFCS) capability to the Joint Capabilities Group (JCG) Capability Manager (CM). Capability is provided through Sustainment under CJC010, and enhancement under the JP9101 Project.
This role supports the EL1 Integrated Project Manager and Deputy Integrated Project Manager JP9101 within a CASG-aligned environment.

Responsibilities
* Provide project management support to the EL1 Integrated Project Manager JP9101 and Deputy Integrated Project Manager JP9101 L3
* Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans and status reports
* Track project progress against timelines, milestones, and budgets, providing updates and recommending corrective actions
* Identify, monitor, and manage project risks and issues, escalating where necessary
* Assist in preparation of project status reports and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders
* Facilitate project meetings, including agendas and tracking action items
* Engage with SMEs to obtain specialist advice when reviewing Contract Deliverable
* Requirements Lists (CDRLs) or participating in systems engineering activities
* Assist in managing project changes across scope, schedule, and budget in line with Defence policies
* Support procurement activities, including vendor management and compliance with procurement policies
* Provide continuous improvement insights to enhance project processes and outcomes
Qualifications And Experience
* Tertiary qualifications in Project Management or related field
* Knowledge of, and experience in, ODCS and ASDEFCON
* Understanding of project management methodologies within Defence environments
* Demonstrated experience in development, planning, and delivery of projects
* Experience with CASG project reporting tools
* Strong knowledge of Defence financial, procurement, and risk management principles
* Demonstrated leadership and teamwork in an Integrated Working Group environment
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
* Experience in Defence procurement and financial management principles
Desirable Experience
* Experience in Defence capability projects (CASG environment)
* Knowledge of capability sustainment
* Understanding of technical, logistical, and operational delivery requirements
* Knowledge of Defence policy and legislation
* Experience managing cross-functional teams
* Relevant certifications (PMP, CPPM, or equivalent)
