Home Care Support Job Opportunity
We are seeking a reliable and passionate Home Care Worker to join our team providing care support in Wagga, NSW with travel to Junee and Coolamon. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our valued clients.
The ideal candidate will be friendly, positive, and demonstrate client-focused behaviour, showing empathy and treating others with dignity and respect. You'll also need to have a natural ability to build relationships that make a difference, be honest, helpful and dependable, making you a great asset to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing and domestic duties
* Assisting clients with daily errands, companionship and support
* Providing support with academic, social or recreational activities
* Preparing food, feeding clients and administering medications
* Observing, caring for and reporting any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client
* Responding to emergency situations
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Certificate III in Individual Care or equivalent (essential)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Willingness to learn, develop and take on new challenges
* National Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)
* NSW Working with Children Check
* Driver's Licence
* First Aid
* CPR Certificate (Valid within last 12 months)
