About the Role
The HSE Advisor will provide support in the management of the HSE activities, including continuous advice and support to managers, supervisors and employees to ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with the requirements of the HSE Management System. This role will integrate HSE into the organisational culture and contribute to the safe and successful execution of client projects.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate must have relevant qualifications in WHS and proven experience in a similar role within the mining industry. Ahrens is seeking a proactive and self-motivated safety champion with strong negotiation and communication skills, particularly in developing and managing collaborative working relationships with a range of stakeholders. This role requires prior experience in Incident Investigations, a sound understanding of WHS legislation in WA, as well as safety standards and processes.
The successful candidate must have a valid driver\'s licence and will be required to complete pre-employment medicals.
