Where you'll be working
This health service operates multiple facilities across the region and is committed to providing a comprehensive and sustainable health system to ensure healthier, longer and better lives for all patients. You will be working at the largest teaching hospital in rural South Australia. It is a major regional health provider for the Lower, Mid and Upper South East regions. The hospital provides a Level 2 obstetrics service.
As a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, you will join a collegial and motivated team committed to delivering high-quality care. With a wide range of services including birthing suites, maternity services, a domiciliary midwife program, neonatal nursery, and strong midwifery and paediatric support, the department offers a diverse and challenging work environment for Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Here, you will have the opportunity to combine clinical services with teaching and research, and make a meaningful impact in patient care in a collaborative healthcare environment. The opportunity to be considered for the Head of Unit position is also available.

Salary information
Consultant Obstetricians & Gynaecologists can expect a remuneration package of $502,529 – $654,778 p.a (pro rata), plus a range of benefits.
Requirements
Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) or equivalent. Obstetricians and Gynaecologists eligible for the fast-track registration pathway are encouraged to apply.
