Data Analyst (APS6)
Location: Geelong
Contract Type: 12-month contract with potential for extension
Pay Rate APS6: $60.26/hr + Super
Eligibility: Australian Citizenship required
Randstad is partnering with a large federal government organization to find a talented Data Analyst (APS6) to join their team.
The Role
APS6 Data Analyst, you will perform complex work under limited direction.
This role involves providing detailed technical, professional, and operational support and advice for complex problems.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality data analysis and reports, including creating dashboards, advantages reports, and data visualizations to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
The position is a team leadership role with the authority to resolve issues and risks.
You may also assist in strategic planning, program and project management, and policy development.
Key Selection Criteria
Essential Criteria
- Recruitment and Workforce Planning: Lead and support recruitment and workforce planning activities, including translating future workforce designs into modellable inputs and informing FTE forecasts.
- Business Analysis Functions: Provide leadership and oversight for business analysis functions, including setting priorities and managing workflows.
- Resolve Complex Issues: Exercise sound judgment and initiative to resolve complex issues by applying advanced technical, data-driven, and numerical methods.
- Managing Stakeholder Relationships and Change Processes: Manage stakeholder relationships and change processes, including negotiating with clients and stakeholders to support workforce transition and minimize resistance.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience or skills in data or analytics.
- An understanding of disability, health, allied health, or related sectors.
