Park Medical Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Medical Receptionist/Administration to join our team in Karawara & East Victoria Park, WA. This Full-time / Part-time role is responsible for providing exceptional front-line customer service and administrative support to our busy medical practice

What you'll be doing
* Greeting and welcoming patients, and managing patient inquiries and bookings
* Scheduling and coordinating appointments, managing wait lists and rescheduling as needed
* Handling patient medical records and data entry, maintaining confidentiality at all times
* Assisting with medical billing, insurance claims and other financial administration tasks
* Providing support to the clinical team as required, including preparing consultation rooms
* Maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail
* Continually looking for ways to improve practice operations and patient experience
* Completing day-to-day accounts and end of day reconciliation
* Sending out records/letters to referring doctors and interested parties
* Supporting patients via phone and email
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a medical reception or administrative role
* Experience with Best Practice Software is required
* Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact with patients, clinicians and other stakeholders
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritise effectively
* Demonstrated understanding of medical terminology, billing and coding procedures
* Meticulous attention to detail and data entry skills
* Highly organised, excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
* Ability to use initiative and work both independently and as a part of a team
* High level interpersonal and written communication skills
* Professional disposition and personal presentation
* Mature, sensitive and empathetic approach to patient care
* Ability to interact with people with impaired communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Teams
* Police clearance
* Basic Life Support Certificate
