Our mission is to help more people to hear.The OpportunityCochlear has an opportunity for a full-time Personal and Team Assistant based in our Macquarie, Sydney office to support key leaders and teams within our R&D department.
In this role, you will provide essential personal assistance to two Vice Presidents and team support across multiple R&D groups.
You will help enable seamless operations through exceptional organisation, communication, and coordination skills.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and working with cross-functional teams.Responsibilities include:Managing calendars, inboxes, travel, expenses, and leadership meeting logistics for two VPsSupporting departmental spending tracking and administrative reportingAssisting teams with travel, purchasing, meeting coordination, and event organisationHandling onboarding activities, visitor access, and internal communicationsManaging departmental resources including room bookings, equipment, and suppliesProviding general administrative support and covering for other assistants during leaveWhat makes this opportunity unique?
This role offers the chance to significantly contribute to the efficient functioning of high-impact R&D teams.You will be integral in enabling leaders and teams to focus on innovation by managing essential administrative functions.About YouTo add value to Cochlear in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:Essential:Proven track-record in autonomously & proactively providing high-level admin support to multiple teamsProven ability to work flexibly in a team environment to provide excellent customer serviceSelf-starter who takes initiativeProven ability to think and act in a customer-centric wayIntermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to manage and prioritise own work, delivering to tight deadlines in a team environmentAbility to develop and implement processes to improve the performance of the teamIdeal:Experienced in department assistant roles, ideally in a product development or service-oriented environmentExposure to and an affinity with working in a culturally diverse environmentExperience with Oracle/SAP, Concur, Workday, and PlaniswareExperience working in customer-facing rolesCochlear's mission is to help people hear and be heard.
