Overview
Solo Resource Recovery is a family owned and operated business, supplying waste removal and recycling services throughout Australia.
We have a position available within our Waste Education department to support community engagement and operational activities. The position available is for a Bin Auditor, with opportunities to work across multiple Victorian Council localities, predominantly in the South Eastern but also Eastern and Northern Suburbs. This role would suit early morning risers and those looking for additional work.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to educate and assist residents within multiple Council contracts through direct engagement and data collection activities. These include but are not limited to bin repair and delivery programs, waste segregation audits, bin inspections and community information programs.
Please note: this is a casual position with flexibility in start times. Projects can alternate with starts from 4:00am to 8:00am and shifts lasting 4 to 8 hours. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted via email.
Responsibilities

Qualifications and Attributes
* Ability to work in a pair, team and at times autonomously
* Physically fit and healthy
* Willing to learn varied communication systems and skills
* Safety conscious and adhere to Company OHS policies
* Flexible with start times
* Interest in waste management, education and the environment
* Must hold a valid driver's licence and have access to use your own car
* No experience required; all appropriate training will be provided
Pre-employment and Other Details
* Pre-Employment Medical, which includes a Drug test
* Possible locations across multiple Victorian Council localities, predominantly South East, Eastern and Northern Suburbs
* This is a casual position requiring flexibility with start times
