About the role

The Relationship Manager Gifts in Wills is responsible for developing, leading and implementing a targeted program to engage with, steward and retain CPA supporters who have confirmed a gift in Will to CPA. The role maintains long‐term strategic donor relationships, keeps confirmed Gifts in Wills supporters updated and engaged, and generates sustainable future revenue.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Head of Philanthropy to develop and implement strategies to steward and retain supporters who have confirmed a Gift in Will to CPA.
  • Research and analyse the market to identify opportunities to implement best practice stewardship and retention.
  • Identify, develop and steward relationships with donors to ensure retention of confirmed Gifts in Wills.
  • Plan, develop and implement a best practice stewardship plan for confirmed Gifts in Wills supporters.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of annual events for Gifts in Wills prospects and supporters.
  • Complete internal reporting requirements; track stewardship activity; analyse retention.
About you
  • Be data‐driven to make strategic decisions based on data analysis and interpretation.
  • Experience in building strong and robust relationships.
  • Ability to develop long‐term plans and track program progress.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication, presenting and promotion skills.
  • A team player with solid work ethic, a positive attitude, a high degree of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
