About the job:
In this role, you'll oversee the end-to-end development process - from initial concept sketches to final production with one of my clients top womenswear accounts. You'll lead client meetings to translate creative visions into actionable design plans, produce detailed illustrations, and guide the sample development process. You'll source and evaluate fabrics, trims, and materials that meet design intent, quality standards, and cost targets. You'll oversee and mentor a small team in this position.
What you'll bring:
* You will ideally have experience in a Senior Account Manager position
* Strong external relationship skills (ideally with majors in Australia)
* Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite
* Confidence in fabric sourcing, and have a strong understanding of cost, performance, and aesthetics
* Management experience (small team)

Responsibilities:
* Oversee the end-to-end design/development process from concept to production.
* Create detailed illustrations in meetings with client and specifications for sample development.
* Source and evaluate fabrics, trims, and materials to meet design, quality, and cost requirements.
* Collaborate with technical, and merchandising teams to align on seasonal collections and timelines.
* Manage and act as a point of contact for assigned clients, managing day-to-day communication.
* Translate client needs and brand direction into actionable plans.
* Maintain strong relationships with clients through clear, timely updates and problem-solving.
* Monitor and manage client orders from sampling through production to delivery.
* Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and our internal merchandising team to ensure on-time development and production.
* Track milestones and manage timelines across the supply chain.
* Troubleshoot production issues, liaise with QA/QC teams, and communicate solutions effectively
