Pavement Asset Services (PAS) is a Consulting Engineering company based at Hindmarsh, South Australia. We deliver professional civil and environmental engineering services to a diverse range of projects and clients, such as the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (State Government), Local Governments (rural and urban), the Department of Defence, and private industry.
PAS has highly regarded, market leading expertise in all aspects of roads, pavements and related civil engineering activities, including environmental services, derived from its engineering leadership team with over 125 years combined industry experience. Our services include:
· Pavement, geotechnical and environmental investigation – visual, invasive (e.g. boreholes, logging, field testing, sampling and lab testing) and non-invasive, using our advanced Falling Weight Deflectometer pavement tester.
· Engineering analysis and design – routine to advanced environmental contamination & material assessment; pavement and earthworks design for new and existing roads.
· Construction services - technical specification development; client-side tender evaluation, estimating and superintending; project specific expert technical advice and forensic assessments.
· Asset Management – road and civil asset testing and assessment, prioritisation and planning processes.
· Contract Tendering, Estimating & Business Functions – preparation of PAS tender submissions for service contracts and business development activities.

About the role
PAS are now ready to employ another Engineer to join its team. Given our diverse range of services and clients, we can readily utilise someone with experience in any of the service categories above. We also offer the opportunity to develop your skills in other areas, creating a dynamic, varied and interesting role.
* Estimating and tender support (PAS tenders or client-side support).
* Pavement, geotechnical and environmental site investigations and testing.
* Civil and /or Environmental Engineering analysis and design.
* Construction specification review and development.
* Construction surveillance and advice.

The Successful Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
* A degree in Civil Engineering or Civil & Environmental Engineering
* 2 – 5 plus years' experience preferred.
* Interest and experience in the range of services offered by PAS.
* Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, with a demonstrated ability to develop relationships with team members and other stakeholders.
* Solid IT, report writing and verbal communication skills.
