Range Workforce Solutions is currently seeking dedicated and reliable Poultry Farm Workers to join our team across multiple sites located within 20 minutes of Griffith.
About the Role
As a Poultry Farm Worker, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the farm, supporting animal welfare and hygiene standards across various tasks. There are 3 different farms Rearing, Breeder and Broiler - roles slightly change at each.
We are looking for people who have availability between Monday - Sunday, reliable transport and ability to work at any farm in any given day.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with farm cleanouts and wash-down procedures
Carry out shed walks to check on birds, feeding and water.
Transfer and depopulate birds as directed by the Farm Manager
Carry out vaccinations, beak trimming, and grading of birds
Remove and dispose of deceased birds in line with quarantine requirements
Adhere to strict biosecurity, hygiene, and shower-on procedures
What You'll Need
Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical
Willingness to comply with strict biosecurity standards (no birds, chickens, or pigs at home or in close contact)
Ability to work in a team and follow directions in a fast-paced environment
