This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in logistics, procurement, and inventory management to work with a dynamic team supporting national operations.
About the Role: Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating global and local sourcing activities, ensuring timely logistics and transportation of products to support on-time delivery to customers across Australia — with a focus on distributor accounts.
Key Responsibilities: Manage procurement of goods for warehouse stock and project requirements.
Oversee and update overseas distributor orders; communicate delays and ensure delivery in full and on time.
Regularly report to distributors on order status.
Coordinate with suppliers and freight forwarders for container tracking and project deliveries.
Handle documentation for shipping, including BOLs, Packing Lists, and Commercial Invoices.
Update freight portals for visibility of stock movements and delivery times.
Lead weekly distributor meetings alongside Plant and State Sales Managers.
Support the Customer Experience Team in delivering outstanding service.
Participate in monthly operations and logistics reporting activities.
Assist with stocktakes and other supply chain tasks as required.
Key Skills and Experience: 1–3 years' experience in logistics, inventory control, or customer service (construction/building industry experience preferred).
Knowledge of international freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and import/export processes.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and ERP systems.
High attention to detail with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
