We're looking for an Apprentice Refrigeration Mechanic to grow with us at our Laverton site.

About The Role
As an Apprentice Refrigeration Mechanic, you'll work closely with our qualified trades team to maintain and repair industrial refrigeration systems, cold storage facilities and essential plant and equipment across our VIC metro sites.
You'll gain hands-on experience with :
Servicing compressors, condensers, evaporators and refrigeration systems
Diagnosing faults and breakdowns
Supporting preventative maintenance tasks
Assisting with inspections, repairs and refurbishment projects
Maintaining tools, equipment and workspaces
Using systems such as MEX and SAP to record work and track maintenance
Working safely in line with OH&S and risk management standards
As your skills grow, you'll have opportunities to participate in after-hours callouts under supervision and contribute to capital works, energy management initiatives and multi-site support.

Ideal candidates can demonstrate :
Currently enrolled in a Refrigeration Mechanic apprenticeship (ideally 3rd or 4th year)
Positive attitude and enthusiasm to tackle challenges
A versatile team player who works well with others
Eager to learn, not just in refrigeration but across other maintenance disciplines
Adaptable, curious and committed to technical and professional growth
Someone who takes pride in working safely and following instructions
Interested in industrial refrigeration and energy-efficient systems
A driver's licence and basic mechanical understanding are helpful but not essential.
Willingness to learn is what counts.
