Communicare is seeking an experienced professional to lead our Breathing Space program, a residential behaviour change initiative for men who use violence and abuse in their relationships. As the Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations, manage a multidisciplinary team, and ensure high-quality delivery of therapeutic interventions.
The role involves leading a dedicated team of professionals, including facilitators, intake specialists, support workers, family safety advocates, and cultural advisors. You will be responsible for overseeing risk management, policy compliance, and program integrity while building strong relationships with stakeholders.
* Lead the Breathing Space program at Maylands, managing a team of professionals to deliver evidence-based interventions.
* Manage a diverse range of tasks, including team supervision, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisations, government departments, community organisations, and other stakeholders.
This position requires a unique blend of leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as experience in managing high-performing teams and delivering therapeutic interventions.

Selection Criteria
* Tertiary qualification in human services or related field, and/or experience in family and domestic violence.
* Experience in managing and leading high-performing teams.
* Advanced communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to forge and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
* Knowledge of family and domestic violence service delivery and practice development.
* Satisfactory Police clearance and Working With Children Check.
