MIGAS Apprentices and Trainees – Beresfield NSW
Partnered with our host Statewide Bearings, we are looking for a Customer Service Trainee who is keen to learn and work in a mechanical engineering environment while completing a BSB30120 Certificate III in Business (Customer Engagement) .
This position is open to school leavers looking to build a sales-orientated career path and who would be interested in working within a bearings and power transmission environment.
This position is full-time, and based in Beresfield in New South Wales.
This 12-month traineeship is the ideal opportunity to gain customer service training and experience in a large, reputable national company.
Statewide Bearings is one of Australia's most trusted bearing suppliers, offering an extensive range of bearing lubrication, power transmission, pumps, and linear motion products. It has multiple branches in each state and offers varied opportunities for progression in all areas of the business.

You will have mentoring and support while completing a blend of on-the-job training and theory coursework.
Responsibilities
* Processing current and outstanding orders
* Answering and responding to phone and email for internal sales
* Liaising and communicating with the internal procurement team to achieve customer deliveries
* Answering enquiries from customers and helping secure new orders
* Collaborating with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide support

* Complete a BSB30120 Certificate III in Business (Customer Engagement) in the first year; you will be able to continue with Statewide Bearings in a second year to pursue a BSB40520 Certificate IV in Leadership Management.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude, reliable and committed to completing the traineeship.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and customers.
* Interest in learning about Statewide Bearings products and services and how to provide customer service.
* Excellent communication skills and confidence to ask questions.
* Ability to prioritise, with good time management skills.
* Be able to perform manual handling duties, including frequent lifting of up to 15kg.
* Ability to ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met.
* Have mechanical aptitude, good attention to detail and a methodical approach.
* Have the ability to pass a Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screen, and Police Check.
* Forklift licence would be advantageous, but is not essential.
