Youth Employment Pathways Program Lead
Job Description
The Youth Employment Pathways (YEP) program supports young people in the workforce by learning core workplace skills and gaining certifications. The YEP Program aims to deliver sustainable employment outcomes for youth.
The Project Lead will design, implement, and oversee the YEP Program. They will develop program components aligned to the organization's values, policies, and procedures.
Fostering partnerships across programs is a key responsibility of the role. This includes supporting employees in their development and employment journey. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills, with experience in staff development and training.
The successful candidate will be committed to trauma-informed and strengths-based practices, working in culturally safe and appropriate ways. This role requires a commitment to fostering partnerships across programs.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide flexibility and after-hours support for YEP employees
* Ensure duty of care is upheld
* Report any abuse concerns in line with organizational policies
