Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Technical Trainer/TA Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs for plant operators, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to work safely and efficiently.
The Technical Trainer/TA Coordinator will also be responsible for reviewing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions, as well as providing feedback on process improvements.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement competency-based training programs for plant operators;
* Review and update SOPs and Work Instructions;
* Provide feedback on process improvements;
* Assist with Permit to Work (PTW) development and issuing;
* Train and assess resources for PTW related training modules;
* Coordinate shutdown and turnaround lessons-learnt workshops;
* Assist in improvement initiatives/projects to ensure continuous improvements are executed.
About You
* You hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessing or equivalent;
* You have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Chemical/petrochemical industry environment, preferably in an Ammonia Plant environment;
* You demonstrate consistent leadership behaviours;
* You have a good understanding of the Supply Chain process;
* You are competent in Microsoft Office modules and SAP or equivalent Computerised Management System;
* You possess fluent English language skills.
