About the role: We are advertising to fill six (6) Garden Labourer positions. This role involves carrying out construction or maintenance tasks as directed by a supervisor, including landscaping, recreation facilities, fencing, and garden or nursery upkeep. It requires working with other teams across Council. The position may also be asked to perform other duties within the scope of skills and training. Flexibility and teamwork are key parts of the role. We are seeking: Confident with basic reading, writing, and maths skills, typically gained by completing Year 10. Hands-on experience in garden maintenance and small landscaping projects, with a practical approach to outdoor work. Able to work independently or as part of a team, showing initiative and reliability on the job. Holds a valid White Card, demonstrating awareness of construction site safety.
