Job Title: Chef (Full‑time) — Busy Café — Sponsorship Available

Salary: $77,000 per annum (commensurate with market level)
About Us: Eclections Australia Pty Ltd operates a busy, high‑volume café focused on fresh, seasonal produce, excellent customer service and strict food safety standards. We are seeking an experienced, reliable Chef to join our team. Sponsorship is available for the right candidate.
Position Description:
* Prepare and cook a wide range of menu items to café standards, including breakfast and lunch service.
* Manage food prep, portioning, plating and presentation during high‑volume service.
* Oversee food storage, rotation and stock‑control; prepare daily prep lists.
* Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, hygiene and workplace safety.
* Implement and follow food safety protocols (HACCP / local food safety requirements), including temperature control, allergen management and correct handling procedures.
* Contribute in conjunction with head chef and FOH team to the menu development, cost control and supplier relationships.
Skills & Requirements:
* Proven cooking experience in a busy café/restaurant environment.
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, portion control and time management.
* Current food safety certification (or willing to obtain) and demonstrated understanding of food health & safety practices.
* Ability to work under pressure, communicate effectively in a small kitchen team.
* Right to work in Australia or willingness to be sponsored (employer willing to sponsor eligible applicant).
