Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a Strategic Industry Partner for the development of the Australian Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) Enterprise. The goals are to enhance self-reliance, supply chain resilience, and develop guided weapons manufacturing capabilities in Australia. The Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO) oversees the execution of GWEO initiatives.
This role involves providing quality and efficient support to the Finance Lead across various financial activities within the MFC line of business.

About you:
* Hold tertiary qualifications (Cert III or above) in a relevant discipline (Finance, Accounting, etc.) from a recognised institution, or have equivalent relevant experience (preferably within the defence industry).
* Have attention to detail and the ability to identify patterns, trends, and variances.
* Can manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Proven adaptability and flexibility to changing needs and priorities.
* Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Possess investigative skills for issue resolution.
* Experience in Microsoft Excel.

Special Requirements:

Your responsibilities will include:
* Customer invoicing, debtor management, and cash flow tracking
* Reporting on financial results, including cost allocation and variance analysis
* Reviewing program cost allocations for accuracy
* Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and stakeholder engagement
* Analyzing reporting variances and providing explanations
* Reconciliation of OSEC reporting (Orders, Sales, EBIT, Cash)
* Supporting contract audits and true-up processes
* Preparing ad-hoc financial reports and analyses
* Tracking ROS% and program profitability
* Liaising with stakeholders to resolve finance issues and develop solutions
