You'll have the opportunity to work flexibly across multiple areas of Newcastle Anglican Allied Health services, or choose to specialise in an area, including:
* Schools – helping children and teenagers succeed in the classroom.
* Paediatrics – assisting children to develop speech, language, literacy and social communication skills.
* NDIS – providing person-centred supports in their chosen natural environment.
* Community Aged Care – supporting older adults with communication and swallowing needs at home.
* Residential Aged Care Facilities – enhancing safety, dignity, and quality of life through therapy and mealtime management.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
* Degree qualification(s) in Speech Pathology
* Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
* Proven experience providing Speech therapy for paediatrics in a range of settings, adults within NDIS or in an Aged Care environment.
* Demonstrated experience prioritising workloads and managing clients with complex needs
* Demonstrated commitment to Continuing Professional Development, Evidenced Based Practice, and measuring clinical outcomes
* Ability to work collaboratively with the team and other service providers
* Knowledge of confidentiality principles and WHS responsibilities.
* Valid NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check, First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
* NSW Driver's Licence
