Your Role As Regional Sales Director
- Nurture, mentor, and develop a team of Account Executives for the core commerce organization
- Drive team performance with a growth mindset
- Build out strategies with Cross-Functional Partners and align support from Sales / Business Development, Marketing, Solution Engineering, Sales Programs, Productivity, and Partner Alliances
- Forecasting and reporting on the most critical drivers of the business
- Maintain an analytical, data-driven approach with solid leadership to motivate teams
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative, learning environment with mentoring and feedback
- Identify and recommend improvements in processes, efficiency, and productivity
- Own the entire sales process to meet key performance metrics, emphasizing new business while growing existing accounts
- Prioritize and lead industry events and user groups to generate market interest
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 2 years of people management experience
- Strong background in leading and motivating teams to achieve performance goals
- Consultative sales skills with ability to articulate strong growth strategies, ROI, strategic business planning, and execution
- Consistent track record of quota over-achievement
- Ability to analyze and synthesize sales data to optimize the sales funnel
- Effective communication skills with ability to build influential cross-functional relationships and deliver results
- Ideally, prior experience in Software/Infrastructure/Platform (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) / Tech space
What Will Make You Successful
- Extensive software sales experience in both individual contributor and management roles
- Proven sales success in enterprise software environments
- Successful track record in high-volume transaction sales
- Working knowledge of the CRM space
- Excellent presentation and listening skills
- Bias for action and ability to thrive in a rapid-paced environment
- Ability to hire and train new sales representatives
