Job Responsibilities
* Manage all the movement from the port to the bond and Export Market.
* Resolve logistical issues and address any delays or disruptions in transportation or delivery.
* Arrange movement to bonded warehouse and out of the bonded warehouse.
* Reconcile, process and file PODs.
* Liaise with movement companies daily to ensure deliveries are met on time and at the correct destination.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
* Prepare and present reports on logistical operations.
* Provide accurate feedback to the export sales team regarding truck deliveries.
* Manage accident and incident reporting.
* Enable all moves of export deals.
* Manage fuel usage ensuring correct fuel liters are allocated according to the route.
* Maintain proper record of movement reports.
* Perform administrative functions related to cross-border documentation.
* Handle ad-hoc tasks and projects.
Requirements
* Diploma or relevant qualification in Logistics.
* Minimum 2-5 years experience in a similar role.
* Experience within the automotive industry or logistics companies.
* Good understanding of Incoterms and export requirements per country.
* Code 10 licence.
