Category Lead Indirects
This is a key role within our organisation, responsible for managing allocated indirect spend categories and contributing to key programs related to this strategically important sector.
* Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies across areas such as IT, facilities management, legal services, finance and fleet management.
* Assist stakeholders in supply chain and procurement activities including cost optimisation, purchasing, forecasting and risk management.
* Contribute knowledge of supplier markets to help improve competitive advantage and service outcomes.
* Support the delivery of strategic plans to ensure alignment with organisational processes, systems and policy.
* Collaborate with other departments to identify, qualify and manage suppliers for tactical and strategic purchasing.
* Maintain awareness of compliance requirements for suppliers in a regulated environment.
* Implement a supply chain that supports business strategies, adapts to market changes and cost optimisation needs.
* Build strong working relationships with stakeholders, colleagues, suppliers and external partners to support best practice and consistency in sourcing.
