AllCare GC is hiring a Casual/Temporary Disability Support Worker role in Varsity Lakes, QLD.

* Available to work: Wed morning, Wed afternoon, Sat morning, Sat afternoon, Sun morning, Sun afternoon
* Expected salary: $42 - $80 per hour
We are seeking reliable and outgoing male NDIS Disability Support Workers for ongoing shifts in the Tweed Heads area.
About the Role
* Commit to regular and consistent shifts, including day, night, weekend, and public holiday rosters.
* Support individuals with physical disabilities with daily living, health, and well-being.
* Deliver high-quality 1:1 support, tailored to each customer's needs and goals.
* Assist with personal care, medication, manual handling, and manage challenging behaviours.
* Provide transport to community activities and medical appointments as required.
* Complete all relevant shift notes, documentation, and reporting tasks.
* Be adaptable and creative to support a variety of individuals in achieving their NDIS aspirations.

Mandatory Requirements
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Current CPR Certificate
* Ability to provide 100 points of ID, including evidence of work rights in Australia
* COVID-19 Vaccination (minimum 2 doses)
* Unrestricted Open QLD Driver Licence
* Own reliable transport (willing to use for work)
* Full comprehensive car insurance
* Smartphone (iOS or Android)
Highly Regarded Experience & Qualifications
* Manual handling and transfers
* Formal qualifications in Mental Health and/or experience with complex and challenging behaviours
* Personal care assistance and personal hygiene support
* Medication assistance and administration
