Project Manager Role Overview
About the Job:
This is a unique opportunity to oversee all aspects of Residential and Commercial building construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction industry and a proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects from inception to completion.
This is a full-time position that requires strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients' teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
* Manage and coordinate the activities of employees, supervisors, equipment, and contractors.
* Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues or risks that arise.
* E nsure strict compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
* Provide leadership and mentoring to the construction teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including cost records, progress reports, and quality assurance records.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
* Western Australian - Licensed Builder preferable.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar Building Construction Manager role, preferably within the commercial or residential construction industry with an understanding of Modular buildings.
* Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects from inception to completion.
* Excellent project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the ability to work collaboratively with our clients' teams.
* Thorough understanding of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
* Proficient in the use of project management software, such as Microsoft Projects or SimPro.
