Located in Gympie**, Cooinda** is surrounded by lovely gardens where residents can enjoy the sunshine, potter in the garden or spend time with family. Our accommodation options include single, shared and private ensuite rooms, with accommodation for couples. Respite care is also available.
**About the role**:
We currently have an opportunity for a Care Manager for our Cooinda aged care service.
As Care Manager you will be responsible for providing care and clinical leadership across the site to ensure our residents receive quality care while promoting a person-centre care model. You will also ensure the site meets all regulatory requirements. In addition to this, you will;
- Provide lead clinical oversight and responsibility across the sites;
- Provide professional leadership and management to clinical, lifestyles and allied health staff;
- Ensure clinical standards are being met and managed including ACFI funding;
- Develop and monitor process for evaluating and reviewing the enhanced services;
- Ensure the clinical quality and risk management programs are implemented and followed;
**About you**:
To be successful in this role you will have significant experience within the aged care industry, managing clinical and care staff. You will have a commitment to philosophy of person-centred care and have contemporary business and people leadership experience. In addition to this you will;
- AHPRA (Nursing) Registration
- An open consultative style and sensitivity to complex organisational dynamics
- Ability to roster and assess clinical need across all high care residents
- Broad knowledge of Quality standards and incident monitoring and reporting
