Job Purpose and Impact

In this hands-on position, you will execute daily and weekly site priorities, lead team members onsite, and ensure they are trained and proficient in performing duties across various operations, including but not limited to harvest reception, grain classification, stack construction, tarping, site hygiene, grain outturn (road and rail), and general bunker operations.

You will prioritize safety while maintaining focus on quality and cost control.


Key Accountabilities

Implement routine operations aligned with policies and procedures related to employee, food, and feed safety, as well as environmental compliance.

Monitor production outcomes, quantity, and quality to ensure customer and food safety requirements are met.

Execute operations within established guidelines.

High emphasis on Customer Service.

Develop, supervise, and provide coaching to casual staff at the site.

Other responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications and Skills

Experience with plant operations, equipment, tractors, tele handlers, bulk material conveying, small plants, and hand tools. Training and certifications provided for additional required tickets and licenses. Prior experience in the grain industry or bulk material handling sector is highly valued. A solid understanding of Health & Safety standards, with the ability to promote a proactive safety culture and address unsafe work or practices. Practical approach to work tasks and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license is mandatory for this position.

While this is a salaried role, there may be expectations to work flexible hours when needed to meet customer demands.
