Senior Litigation Lawyer
We're seeking an experienced and autonomous senior lawyer to join our team in Melbourne. As a Senior Litigation Lawyer, you'll manage a high-volume caseload of TAC and WorkCover files, ensuring efficient progress and maximum compensation for our clients.
You'll take ownership of files during your colleagues' leave, building trust quickly and managing expectations. With compassion, connection, and purpose, you'll champion our clients by providing legal advice and representation, conducting litigation tasks, and drafting legal documentation with precision and attention to detail.
To thrive in this role, you'll have:
* A Bachelor of Laws and a current practising certificate with 3+ years' PAE.
* Pre- or post-admission experience litigating WorkCover and TAC files, with proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload and progress files efficiently.
* The confidence and maturity to work independently, managing sensitive client matters.
* Excellent legal drafting and communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret legislation and legal documentation.
* Proficiency in practice management systems, with a tech-savvy approach to managing e-files.
* A collaborative mindset and commitment to working as part of a cohesive team to deliver outstanding client outcomes.
