On behalf of our tier-one mining client, we are seeking a Project Lead to manage structural integrity projects on-site in the Pilbara.
**About this role**
Responsibilities will include:
- Prepare tender documents and BOQs for future works, including future major Project Works and minor SOWs to complete POs issued to site MP&E team.
- Facilitate the design of any required temporary propping for the execution of the works.
- Review and verify PPPC documentation and workings, including ongoing works claims.
- Manage the timely completion of TQs.
- Review contractor estimates for variation works.
- Design reviews of Contractor drawings for replacement items. Facilitating or completing design as required. Assuring As-Built drawings are logged with EDM as per the procedure.
- Responsible for shutdown planning, including scope challenge to ensure the contractor is maximizing the use of Major and Modular Shut periods to reduce the risk of project overrun. Complete Pre-Shut
- Walk arounds with the Contractor with focus on Scaffolding required and Services which may impede works
- Co-ordinate with shut planners and supervisors to optimize shut works.
**About you**
- Trade certification and/or engineering qualification
- Previous experience in SMP work and/or structural integrity
- Experience in project management
- Experience in mining industry
- Experience managing teams of people across fixed plant
- Strong communication skills to enable day-to-day engagement with contractors and planning teams is essential
- Full Australian Working Rights
- National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain
