The Role
Partum is seeking an experienced
Electronics Engineer
to join our Partum Engineering business in Burswood, WA. The Electronics Engineer will report directly to the Team Lead or Senior Engineer for the discipline group and will be responsible for:
Effectively conducting site inspections, where required, to ensure the design meets project objectives.
Liaising with both internal and other stakeholders regarding engineering related matters and ensuring that any technical difficulties are articulated and resolved promptly.
Establishing and monitoring performance and safety standards and procedures for operation, modification, maintenance and repair of such systems.
Identifying changes, design and/or constructability issues, and liaising with site management in providing logical solutions.
Analyzing communications traffic and level of service, and determining the type of installation, location, layout and transmission medium for communication systems.
Developing apparatus and procedures to test electronic components, circuits and systems.
Designing the architecture, modelling and integration of communication and control systems, command and warfare systems, and other industrial applications.
Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
Relevant Tertiary Qualification - Bachelor (Minimum)
3+ years experience in an Electronics Engineering role.
3+ years industry experience.
High Voltage Electrical Experience.
Experience within the construction, utilities, or resource industry.
Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, drawings and documentation.
OHS Construction Induction Card.
Current Driver's Licence.
National police clearance.
Strong attention to detail.
Established communication and interpersonal skills.
High level IT knowledge, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Well organised with strong time management skills.
High regard for safety and safe work practices.
Ability to effectively prioritise and manage competing priorities.
Ability to work independently using own initiative and within a cohesive team environment.
Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications
Previous experience in the utilities/construction/resources industry is desirable.
