This position sits within a high-performing civil engineering team delivering essential water infrastructure projects across Western Australia.
The role focuses on the detailed design of wastewater pump stations, rising mains, and associated pipeline systems, developed in line with stringent utility authority standards. Projects are technically complex and play a key role in supporting growing communities and major infrastructure programs across WA, complying to water corporation new standards.
It offers the opportunity to work on high-quality, compliant designs within a stable environment backed by a strong pipeline of secured work.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop detailed 3D designs for wastewater pump stations, rising mains, and gravity sewer systems.
* Produce high-quality civil and hydraulic design documentation using 12d Model and 12d Drains.
* Translate engineering concepts into accurate, buildable construction drawings.
* Ensure all designs comply with relevant Australian Standards and major WA utility authority requirements.
* Coordinate with engineers and stakeholders to resolve design challenges and optimise outcomes.
* Identify and mitigate design clashes early to support efficient project delivery.
* Maintain design accuracy and data integrity across all project stages.
What You'll Bring
* 5+ years' experience in civil design, ideally within the water and utilities sector.
* Advanced proficiency in 12d Model and 12d Drains (essential).
* Strong understanding of pump station design, reticulation networks, and hydraulic principles.
* Proven experience delivering designs aligned with strict utility authority standards in WA.
* High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
