About the Job
This role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making across the organisation. You’ll manage the preparation of financial statements, maintain the general ledger, and ensure everything is in line with relevant accounting standards, while also supporting the integrations of finance systems.
Working closely with the Financial Reporting Manager and wider finance team, you’ll provide insights into financial performance, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and help improve processes, controls and reporting. It’s a hands-on role suited to someone with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to turn numbers into meaningful insights.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support system integration across Xero, Microsoft Business Central, and a new Client Management System (CMS).
* Assist with implementing a new client billing/SMS system to ensure accurate, high-volume invoicing.
* Drive improvements in invoicing processes, enabling clear visibility of outstanding balances via Xero.
* Perform reconciliations and cash management.
* Support data reporting requirements, including integration with external stakeholders (e.g. State-level reporting).
* Contribute to Power BI reporting and data integration initiatives.
About You:
* Proven experience in financial accounting roles, ideally in standalone environments.
* Strong systems exposure, particularly Xero and Microsoft Business Central.
* Demonstrated experience in systems integration or process improvement.
* Comfortable handling large data sets and building reporting outputs (Power BI advantageous).
* Tech-savvy, proactive, and able to operate autonomously.
