Role
We require qualified technicians who thrive under pressure and excel in complex integration environments. You will be a vital part of our Test and Commissioning Team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, timely solutions that impact the performance of critical naval platforms. This role offers unique opportunities for professional growth and requires individuals ready for challenging work both interstate and offshore.
What We Are Looking For
* Qualified Technician: Certificate III or relevant experience in Engineering, Electronics, Networking or related fields.
* Licences: Hold, or be eligible to apply/receive, relevant state licences (e.g. Restricted Electrical Licence).
* An ability to learn from experienced technicians.
Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office and 9‐day fortnight will be considered for this role.
Skills & Experience
* Adaptability & Problem‐Solving: Confidently adjust to changing priorities, identify underlying issues, and actively contribute to system improvement initiatives.
* Operational Readiness: Available for deployment (interstate and offshore) to perform critical installation and maintenance tasks.
* Autonomy & Efficiency: Capable of managing competing priorities under minimal supervision while consistently exceeding job requirements and meeting strict deadlines.
* Communication & Collaboration: Function confidently within a team, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and foster a spirit of cooperation.
* Technical Proficiency: Strong analytical skills, excellent written/verbal communication, and intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Eligibility
Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold or be able to obtain a NV1 level.
