You will play a key role in supporting the Human Resources and Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) Scheme team to deliver the company’s human resources functions to a seasonal workforce of about 550 employees. This includes maximizing efficiencies in data management while encouraging a positive and compliant employee experience.The role spans several key areas; Human Resources, PALM Scheme, Accommodation and Office Administration, with key responsibilities including:Human ResourcesSupport the recruitment and onboarding of casual employees, including advertising, document collection, inductions and data entry.Maintain accurate employee records ensuring compliance, including conducting VEVO (Visa Entitlement Verification Online) checks.Support the ongoing review and implementation of company policies and procedures.PALM SchemeProvide administrative support to the PALM Program Manager and Welfare Coordinator in the onboarding, induction and training processes.Assist in the preparation and filing of documentation for PALM employees.Data entry support for the onboarding of PALM employees.Hours are flexible, but generally an average of 38 hours per week, 8am – 4pm during the picking season and 9am – 5pm during the off season.About YouTo be successful in this role you will have:Strong administration and data processing skills with a keen eye for detail.An understanding of key HR functions.The ability to multi-task and prioritise duties.Proficiency in Microsoft365 programs, in particular Microsoft Excel.Proactive, organised, and eager to learn in a fast-paced operational environment.Ability to take initiative and be a problem solver in a smaller team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support a diverse workforce.Ability to work professionally and effectively within a team.Experience in the horticultural industry or the PALM Scheme.Experience with ScoutRecruit & Onboard, MYOB, SafeAgSystems.About the BenefitsFor your hard work and dedication, you will be rewarded with an attractive salary package, $60,000 - $65,000 (negotiable based on skills and experience) plus superannuation.We are passionate about career development and personal growth and provide many opportunities for training and development.
