Disability Support Worker New South Wales - Orange - Casual Positions
JoinKirinari Community Servicesas a Disability Support Worker (DSW) in Orange, New South Wales.
This is a casual position with flexible start dates and opportunities for overtime, overnight shifts, and weekend work.
About the Position
Our DSWs support people in their day-to-day living, providing 24/7 care in supported independent living accommodation settings (SIL/Group Homes).
You will deliver direct support across a range of customer needs, including domestic and personal care assistance, and help clients connect positively to the community.
Responsibilities
Provide daily support for customers in their independent living environments.
Assist with domestic tasks and personal care.
Promote community participation and positive connections.
Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, working 24/7.
Participate in buddy shifts and induction training.
Qualifications & Requirements
Willingness to work shift work, including sleepovers (active nights), weekends and public/school holidays.
Resilience, confidence, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
Proficiency in using computers; ability to learn various software programs.
Smartphone.
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
Ability to obtain an NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement.
