Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Quality & Safety Manager to oversee and improve our quality and safety systems within a dynamic aviation environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our operations run smoothly, safely, and in compliance with industry standards.
The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions. Strong communication skills are also essential, as the role involves working closely with colleagues to maintain the highest level of quality and safety in aviation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse data and trends to identify potential risks and opportunities for growth
* Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and industry standards through regular audits and inspections
* Develop and implement quality and safety policies and procedures to drive continuous improvement
* Train, coach, and educate staff on best practices to enhance their skills and knowledge
* Investigate quality and safety incidents and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants should possess the following qualifications and experience:
* Meet or be prepared to meet CASA requirements for this role
* Experience working within a Quality and/or Safety Management system
* Aircraft maintenance engineer experience is highly desirable
* Previous experience within a Part 145 Maintenance Organisation is advantageous
