Our Federal Government client works alongside business areas and Information Technology Divisions to support system changes and ensure the success of Government quality and safety reforms.
About the Role
Are you a detail-oriented UAT professional with experience in ICT change initiatives? Our federal government client is seeking an experienced
User Acceptance Tester (UAT)
to support major aged care reform initiatives aimed at improving quality and safety across the sector.
You will play a key role in validating that system changes meet business requirements and are fit for purpose before release into production environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with change owners, SMEs, business analysts, and delivery partners to validate system changes.
* Design, review, and execute detailed test cases aligned to business needs.
* Participate in co-design sessions and solution walkthroughs.
* Contribute to Test Scenario Identification and Test Case Review Workshops.
* Identify, document, and manage defects through to resolution.
* Support test processes that reduce defects reaching production environments.
About You
You have:
* Demonstrated experience in user acceptance testing in a government or enterprise ICT environment.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills with an ability to work across teams.
* High attention to detail and excellent documentation practices.
* A strong understanding of testing frameworks, test case design, and defect management.
Desirable:
* Previous experience with government projects.
* Certification in software testing or relevant methodologies (e.g., ISTQB) is an advantage.
