About the role
At Woolies, the Proactive Services team ensures trolleys are available and that stores remain pristine, creating a hygienically clean environment for customers and staff. As a Team Member you will complete cleaning tasks, collect trolleys, and support waste processing routines. You will receive full training to operate a variety of equipment and use tools that make the job easier and safer.
What you'll do
* Complete tasks allocated in the daily planner such as sweeping the shop floor, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolley bays, team room, and emptying bins
* Collect trolleys on foot from the car park and surrounding areas
* Work across departments to deliver specific cleaning needs
* Help customers in store by answering questions or providing directions
What you'll bring
* An ambitious mindset, a love of retail, and a passion for people – a role with room to grow your career in cleaning and trolley collection and beyond
* Physical fitness, with the ability to handle physically demanding tasks and meet the role's physical requirements
* Ability to stand for long periods and lift loads of 5–10kg
* Flexibility to work in various environments such as the shop floor, fridges, freezers and car parks
* Availability to work across Monday–Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 5pm
* A good eye for cleanliness and attention to small details
