Join our dynamic software support team as a software technical support specialist for our Pacific Zone ANZ. 1-2 years of experience in application support function is highly regarded. Hybrid role (3 days in office) located at our SMART office, Macquarie Park, plus benefits.

Our team supports customers in the Industrial Automation business in our Pacific Zone of Australia and New Zealand. We are looking for a software technical support specialist to join us.
Reporting into the Customer Success division, based in Macquarie Park NSW, your role will involve ensuring smooth operations for our customers, troubleshooting and diagnosing faults across SCADA products including GeoSCADA, AVEVA System Platform, and AVEVA Plant SCADA.
You will collaborate with pre-sales, sales, quotes, and procurement teams, focusing on delivering excellent customer experience and technical resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Owning, investigating, and resolving complex software issues, and proposing workarounds.
2. Documenting activities and findings accurately and timely in the case management system.
3. Contributing to digital self-help materials and building a knowledge sharing platform.
4. Collaborating with other support centers and departments.
5. Providing excellent customer service through empathetic communication.
6. Learning continuously and actively supporting team and customer success.
About You:
To succeed, you should have 2-4 years of experience in Application Support within an ASX top 100 company, supporting mainstream software applications, with knowledge of software architecture and SDLC.
A tertiary qualification in Engineering or Computer Science is preferred, along with understanding of software and automation hardware communications.
Key skills and experience include experience with AVEVA System Platform and Plant SCADA or GEO SCADA, understanding of Windows OS, networking, and security, knowledge of Windows troubleshooting tools and commands, experience with hardware and software integration, quick thinking, self-motivated, and customer-focused attitude.
