The Role
The Housekeeping Department is currently seeking applications for an Assistant Executive Housekeeper to help manage the team. Supporting the Executive Housekeeper, this role provides the successful applicant the opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities through the overall management of the housekeeping department including in house laundry and cleaning departments.
In this role, you are the Manager of First Impressions for guests visiting The Ville Resort-Casino and Ardo Hotel by ensuring the highest level of venue presentation is met at all times. You will need to form strong relationships with the various departments across the property to ensure a holistic customer service experience for all guests.
Full-Time Salary: $75,000 - $85,000
About You
* Relevant qualifications in hotel services, hospitality or a related front-line management field
* At least 2-3 years experience in a management role in a housekeeping/cleaning environment or similar
* Strong knowledge of both commercial Laundry and Hotel housekeeping operations
* Demonstrated four or five start hotel experience
* Proficient with Microsoft Office
* Opera knowledge desired
* Time management skills and ability to multi-task
* Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
* Strong customer service focus

* Operation decision making
* Strong leadership and staff management skills
