Care Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Specialist to join our team in the East Metro region. As a Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting older members of our community maintain their independence and wellbeing.

Responsibilities:
* Perform general housekeeping tasks including making beds and tidying living areas
* Clean and maintain floors through mopping and vacuuming
* Wash, fold and iron laundry to keep clients' living spaces hygienic
* Prepare meals and purchase groceries as required
* Assist clients with morning routines including getting dressed and showered
* Support mobility and therapy goals through exercise and assistance
* Provide complex care for clients with high care needs such as dementia
* Offer social and emotional support to clients and their families
* Transport clients to lifestyle activities or appointments when needed
* Provide respite care to family carers allowing them time for themselves
Requirements:
* Previous experience in care work or a related field is highly desirable
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Physical stamina to perform duties that involve lifting and bending
