The Guest Service Agent's primary responsibilities include warmly welcoming guests upon arrival and bidding them a fond farewell upon departure. They ensure accurate payment information and billing setup, provide room orientations, and assist guests throughout their stay.
About the Role:
We are seeking a professional, friendly, and detail-oriented Front Office team member to join our team at Kirra Point Holiday Apartments. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and ensuring a seamless and memorable stay.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Office & Guest Services:
* Provide a warm, professional welcome to guests on arrival and ensure a smooth departure.
* Assist guests with luggage handling, room orientations, and concierge services.
* Stay informed about the local area, offering recommendations for dining, attractions, and events.
* Manage guest reservations, accounts, and billing setups accurately.
* Anticipate guest needs in the lobby and be proactive in providing assistance.
Housekeeping Attendant:
* Clean and service guest rooms, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
* Change linens, vacuum, dust, and replenish room amenities as needed.
* Report maintenance or repair issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
* Assist in managing stock, linen, and maintaining an organised housekeeping operation.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in housekeeping within a hotel or apartment setting.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
* A friendly, approachable demeanor with a passion for guest service.
* Willingness to work across both housekeeping and front office tasks.
* Ability to multitask, adapt to a variety of guest needs, and work with rotating rosters.
