The National Library of Australia is seeking fill the public facing role of the Director, Community Engagement, Engagement Branch (EL2). You will lead the formulation of policy, strategy and delivery of outreach objectives for the National Library.
Lead a high-performing team to:
- Create ways for all Australians to engage with and support the Library and promotion of its collections through events, learning programs and publishing projects, online and in person.
- Maintain an active and engaging onsite program including the high profile bookshop and events.
- Develop and implement community outreach activities including Friends of the National Library, an active Volunteer program, events, publishing and sales.
- Identify, build and maintain community relationships to support positive engagement.
