Job Opportunity:
This role sits within a vibrant and collaborative team responsible for establishing robust credit risk model governance frameworks.
The Role's Key Responsibilities:
* Manage ongoing monitoring of credit risk models used in risk management practices, ensuring compliance and meeting business requirements.
* Engage with stakeholders to stay up-to-date on recent developments and advancements in credit risk modeling.
* Facilitate regular credit risk model monitoring forums and reviews of model monitoring outcomes, providing actionable insights for improvement.
* Enhance the existing model monitoring framework by leveraging data analytics tools such as BitBucket and Tableau.
* Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure efficient and robust data transition from warehouse to discovery environment to production environment.
* Monitor risk issues and resolutions, recommending remedial action to address marginal or unsatisfactory model performance.
* Execute delivery of data requests and supporting analysis required for regulatory validation.
Requirements:
* 3+ years experience in credit risk analytics/management, with a deep understanding of data management, business and consumer portfolios, underlying systems, and data.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify opportunities to enhance existing business processes using statistical models and tools.
* Able to communicate complex ideas effectively and adapt to changing priorities.
* Tertiary qualifications (Quantitative, Actuarial, Statistics or other relevant degree) or equivalent business experience.
* Technical orientations: SAS programming, SQL, R, Excel with VBA, Word, PowerPoint, Bitbucket, and Tableau.
